Basic InformationName: Nonko Ryuuza
Age: Appears:19
Real Age:1200
Gender: Male
Division: Fourth Division
Seat: Vizard Apprentice
Looks: Unruly raven black hair sits a top an oval face, hanging down almost to his shoulders, and often either pulled back into a small ponytail (barely three inches long though) or held back with a thick white headband, depending on where he's working. Said headband is used for both catching sweat and warmth in cold weather.
His dark blue eyes are narrow and usually give off a tired look. An interesting feature of his eyes are the few tiny light blue specks in the iris, like some people have dark specs in light colored eyes. His eyebrows are naturally thin, but are usually covered by hair hair or headband. A small nose with more of a pointed tip sits just below his eyes under which is a pair of delicate lips and an equally delicate chin. His cheek bones are set rather high and lead to nicely sized ears that stick out just a little.
Moving lower, his shoulders and arms have a rather feminine quality, often leading him to mistaken as a tall girl. Despite this, he is physically strong and stands at 5'10", weighing in at 172lbs. His chest is toned and stomach firmed to the healthy beginnings of a six-pack. Though, due to his relatively conservative nature, he isn't comfortable with letting people see him bare chested, and often wears a full wetsuit to go swimming. Either that or board shorts and a form fitting t-shirt. Because of this, his skin is lightly colored, void of almost any tanning. Only his forearms and lower legs have any tanning to them, and even that is minimal. Even in the summer, he's usually inside because of the heat, so the sun rarely gets to him.
His normal attire is a printed t-shirt, black or tan cargo pants (or stretch jeans), and a thin, usually dark blue or black sports jacket, white stripes following the lines of the shoulders and arms, and down the sides of the jacket. Favorite shirts often include subtle advertising of popular drinks like coke or pepsi, and one of his red shirts says "You look funny doing that with your head" sideways down the front. There are others with funny sayings, but to list them all would take a while, as well as ruin the fun of finding out.
During colder weather, he sports a long sleeve turtleneck, a thin, sleeveless vest (usually of a lighter color), a pair of darker, thicker jeans, and a thick jacket. The only criteria his clothes have to follow, is they must be easily moved around in, so they end up being made of stretchy, or baggy material.
Personality Nonko has a rather quiet demeanor and rarely starts conversations unless something really grabs his attention. He isn't lacking in social manners, he just doesn't often see the need to say anything, his favorite quote being, "Stay quiet and let people believe you to be an idiot, then speak and prove them right". His favorite places to be are less lively places, or places that are completely opposite of said "lively", like graveyards. The reason for this isn't because it's full of dead and therefore, quiet things. It's not as much because it's quiet that it is because quite a few of his descendants are buried there, and he likes visiting them.
Interestingly enough, he likes shopping, especially for food, and has a constant craving for caramel apples (green apples only, red are too sweet). Cooking isn't his greatest talent, but he likes doing it, and rice, fish, and miso soup isn't all that hard to make. He also enjoys a good omelet, usually filled with mushrooms, tomatoes, and green bell peppers. "The journey can be more fun than the destination." His young wife told him something like that often when he was in too much of a rush to get somewhere, in fact, it was the reason for his death. Now, he takes things slowly, enjoying the journey and appreciating the destination. Even though his cookies turned out burnt, it was fun making them.
When it comes to fighting or anything violent, Nonko tends to stay away, as he is a pacifist, although Vain complains and sometimes tries to take control. The reason for his pacifism and dislike of fighting isn't because he doesn't like pain, it's the opposite. Pain is pleasurable and he's extremely uncomfortable with that part of himself. Pain also excites his hollow self and makes him want to get out and fight even more. If there's a hollow, and no one is attending to it, he will step in with help from his hollow half, if only to protect those in the city. Although he doesn't know most of them, he would hate to see any of them hurt.
Content with the simpler things in life, he desires nothing more than food, shelter, clothes, and the ability to defend. With a job as a night time grave keeper, and a day time veterinarian, he spends his days wandering, traveling, or sometimes even going to the beach for a swim.
StatsStrength:Speed:Accuracy:Stamina:Mask InformationName: Vain
Manifestation: The first of his two most noticeable features are his eyes, which are black instead of white, with white iris's, and black pupils. The second is his two-toned hair, which is black underneath and white on top. His hair is flared up as if he was cursed with major static problems, but looks good on him, and adds to his wild appearance. If his hair were to stay down, it would reach his shoulders, which are broad from his long neck, leading to long, lanky arms with strong hands and delicate, long fingers. He stands at a striking 7 feet, towering over his host.
His face is oval, with high cheekbones and a tattoo below each eye. The tattoos are lines parallel to the bottom his eyes with two marks, one short, one long, coming down a few centimeters. The torso is toned and slim, broad shoulders leading to well toned arms, both usually unadorned with clothes. A pair of dark pants sit low on his hips, covering long legs, which lead down to his feet, which are also naked.
Unique Ability: All seeing eyes: Activate with the vocal command “Miharu” (open your eyes wide), this ability causes the right eye on Nonko’s mask to glow then three more appear on each side of his head (ie. one on the left, one on the right and one behind), using this ability Nonko is immobile but is able to see everything, even the slightest motion of a bug on a blade of grass for a radius of twenty-five meters (roughly 80 feet). (This technique lasts for two posts)
Eye of the Cero: Requiring no activation command, Nonko is capable of causing the right on his mask to glow with energy after charging for about five minutes (one post). He can cause the glowing energy in front of the eye to disappear appearing at least four feet from his intended target the glowing eye fires off an extremely powerful golden cero. (Intended target must be within 20 feet).
Cero whip: At first it seems that this is just a cero beam as it shoots from his finger and middle finger on either hand, stopping about 3 meters away, still connected to his fingers. For the next 10 seconds (one post), he can move it around as if it were a whip. It's only as thick as a pencil, but whatever it wraps around will have a burn mark, the severity depending on how long it was in contact (ie. one post, minor burn. Two posts, sever burn). It can also be cut, shortening the whip by half no matter where it's cut. This can only be used twice each time the hollow mask is activated.

Zanpakuto InformationZanpakuto Name: Gaikotsukagi (Skeleton Key)
Zanpakuto Looks: - Spoiler:
Zanpakuto Description: Just a normal katana.
Released Zanpakuto Description: Strike: For a very limited time, the whip will straighten and Nonko can thrust forward as if fencing with a very big, very long sword. As soon it has been pushed forward, it goes limp again. Because of the weight of the whip, doing this is taxing on his body, having to keep it straight and aim correctly. Often times, Nonko thrusts lower than he should, missing his target.
Silence of the grave: It takes a minute to get started, but as Nonko swings his whip over his hand, it'll become like a helicopter. The spinning bone whip is hard to see at the peak of it's speed and if one was to try and put their sword through it, it would likely be ripped from their hands and flung away, depending on thier strength. Timing is everything to get past this shield, and if it is timed right, the sword would stop the spin and likely make Nonko hit himself with the end of the whip as it swung around the sword. Stopping it is also dangerous, as he is completely vulnerable until it stops (takes a full round of posts). If he tries to do anything before it's stopped, he would likely hit himself.
Bone claws: Made of reiastu, these bone claws appear around Nonko's left fist, extending about 5 inches past his knuckles. There are three claw-blades, the blade only on the under part. They can be broken by someone stronger, and must wait 5 minutes (at least two post) to grow back. If they are just cracked, it's half that time. When the claws are summoned, he can not use or even hold his sword/whip with that hand (The zanpaktou can still be wielding in his right hand), so it becomes a purely one-handed weapon, which can make it difficult to use because of it's weight.
Zanpakuto Release Phrase: "Haka wo hiraku, Gaikotsukagi!" ("Open the grave, Skeleton Key!")
Released Zanpakuto Looks: Simply, a 20 foot whip made of finger bones seemingly braided together, held together by threads of reiastu. For every foot of whip there are about 12 fingers, layered as it give it a more chaotic look as well as space out the tips of the fingers, which bend out to act as spikes to grab and tear at the opponent. The whip is very flexible because of the joints in the fingers, so it's able to wrap around small body parts like ankles and wrists. The handle of the whip is made of some kind of animal skin, and is rumored to be human skin. No one knows, nor does Nonko, mostly because he really doesn't much care. Ok, not exactly simple.
If he's not using it, but expects to very soon, he'll wrap the whip diagonally around his chest, back, and over one shoulder. As it's his own zanpakuto, the finger spikes don't hurt him, and actually retract like cat claws so brushing up against someone else won't hurt them.
Zanpakuto Spirit: - Spoiler:
This spirit comes in two parts, although they are one in the same. The first is a human looking being. It's hair is white from the roots and fades to green at the tips. The hair is parted in the middle, underneath which you can see two large straps overing his eyes, or at least, where his eyes should be. His nose is small and rounded above a wide cat-like smile. His clothes are equally as strange as the rest of itself. Black with two straps on each arm and upper leg, and a single white line going down its arms. It's unclear whether this person is a boy or girl, as its chest is rather flat, but it's features are delicate and feminine. It stands at a mere 5 feet.
Either in its arms or somewhere close by is a blue and white cat. It's blue on the top and white on the bottom, the colors completely symmetrical. The cat simply mews and leads Nonko to wherever Gaikoysukagi happens to be hiding at the time.
Zanpakuto Realm: Both above and below is grass, trees, and grave stones. They seem to go on forever. Very few graves are marked, but they are marked with the names of those he has saved, instead of those who have died despite his efforts. The grass is green and seems over grown in some areas. There are all different kinds of trees, like sakura, oak, elm, even a redwood here and there, but the most noticeable is a single canopy tree, standing very tall, it's branches stretching out in all directions, covering quite a bit of the surrounding area. Nonko has yet to make it all the way up the trunk to see where Gaikotsukagi and the cat keep disappearing to. He assumes that whatever is up there, he isn't ready to see.

If so, how?Bankai Description: The meat of the matter. What abilities does your Bankai grant you when released? Be very specific here, and remember; the abilities need to coincide with your Shikai description (IE. Youre bankai cant be fire if youor shikai is water)History and RP sampleHistory: Life and Death:Life before going to the rukongai was perfect. Nonko was born to a wonderful couple in a small rice growing village, and was raised there as well. He didn't care much for politics, but as he got older and stronger, he began learning how to defend the village from rogue samurai and bandits from his older brother and father. The government was becoming increasingly incompetent every year, which effected the financial status of everyone, causing thievery to be a main way of getting through life.
Nonko married a young woman who he saved from being sold to a brothel and had a daughter a year later. He started a delivery business since the village was between three major areas and he and his family were able to live comfortably, though he was often gone. During one journey, he was in a rush to get to the city so he could get home, and despite his wife's warnings to not worry about it and to take his time, without pushing himself, giving him a long lock of her hair as a good luck tassel. He took the road at a very fast pace and took a dangerous short cut and a freak landslide crushed him on his way through.
The Soul Society:Angry at himself, his spirit wandered the dangerous valley for a long time. A kind voice offered him life again and he began following it, only to be led to the mouth of a hollow. He wasn't sure how to react and decided that it was his fate and he deserved it. Before the hollow could devour him, the mask broke apart and vanished. Turning to see who had saved him, he was greeted by the butt of a sword to his forehead. Everything went white and he felt at piece, being let to catch one last glimpse at his daughter and wife, who were supporting each other and being supported by the village after his death.
In the rukongai, Nonko ended up living in the 28th district. His job, as it had been in life, was a messenger through all of rukongai, even the very last district. It could be a dangerous job, so he had to learn to be cunning and clever when dealing with the bullies of rukongai. During one trip, he encountered a group he had met before and they were ready for his cunning tricks. He ended up on the ground, mostly surrounded by the group. Reaching back, he grasped for a stone he could throw, or something, anything! What he found was not a rock or tree branch, but the smooth scabbard of a sword. Pulling it in front of him though, he noticed how short it was, but it would have to do.
In his hands, it worked better than expected and the fight didn't last long. He was about to cut through and run away. His last delivery was in one of the first few rukon districts and there he stopped for tea and dumplings as well as to examine his new found treasure. It was short, but pretty, and it had a beautiful black tassel at the end that seemed vaguely familiar. It gave him a warm feeling in his chest before he realized where it had come from and began remembering his life before. Hunger spoke through his stomach and he ended up eating three times what he usually ate, which was very little since they didn't much to sustain themselves. A short conversation with his server led him to thinking about becoming a shinigami. He had been a regular spirit long enough, and being a messenger was becoming repetitive after almost 80 years.
Enrolling in the academy, he watched as other summoned their first release and were able to produce kido without much effort. He was one of the worst in his class, only excelling in speed and swordsmanship. He could run circles around his classmates, but he'd win by making his opponent run out of energy and then overpowering them. Often times, he was made fun of for not knowing the name of his zanpakuto, but he reminded them of a captain who didn't know his zan's name. Of course, his spiritual pressure was no where close to being like that, but he could hope. And anyway, it's not like he named the name release when he could just make someone run out of energy.
Graduation couldn't have come sooner and he was placed in the 4th squad, unseated. He learned quickly how to treat wounds and would often be sent out on group missions to defeat hollows, just in case anything happened. It was on one of his missions that he learned the name of his zanpakuto. A single hollow had defeated the whole group and was attempting to devour them. In a panic, he raised his tiny sword and could only watch as the hollows mouth opened toward him, ready to eat him and his sword.
A world seemed to open to him, laced with graves and trees. A peaceful, beautiful graveyard. Looking up, he saw the the sky was also a green landscape, littered with tombstones and trees. They seemed to go on forever. Behind a closer stone, a cat stepped out and started walking away, mewing for him to follow. A large tree came into view and he stepped up to the trunk as the cat seemed to walk right up and into the tree, as if gravity wasn't an issue. Glancing into the trees, he lost sight of the cat, and in his attempt to find it, he didn't notice the strange person phasing though the tree. An adorable "nyaa" caught his attention and he looked down. He yelped, stumbling back, and tripped on a shorter grave stone, falling without much grace onto his butt. Opening his eyes, he saw the same strange, green haired person straddling his middle, staring at him through covered eyes. His attempt at removing the strange person was stopped by his own disembodied voice. It was a name, Gaikotsukagi. He repeated it aloud and the person smiled cutely and jumped off, picking up the blue and white cat from before, the turning to him and saying his name, Nonko. The large tree began to change, a keyhole appearing in the center. Looking through, he saw himself, standing in front of the hollow with the open mouth.
"I need to get out there. Can you open this?" He asked, turning to the strange little person. Gaikotsukagi reached out it's hand and Nonko's held it in his own, then watched as he seemed to morph into the short sword he had before. Getting the idea, he pointed the sword toward the keyhole in the tree and shoved it through. Just as he did so, he noticed something from the corner of his eye. A tall lanky man was standing, grinning at him eerily. It mouthed "kill it" before Nonko found himself standing before the hollow once again. Calling out his release phrase, he felt the heaviness of a whip in his hands, the texture of tanned animal skin beneath his fingers, and watched as the whip tore through the mask, decimating it.
Learning of the Hollow Within:Back in the soul society, he was congratulated on achieving shikai and over the next year, was promoted to 9th seat of the 4th squad. Unfortunately, his happy years would be short lived as dreams became nightmares and each time he used shikai, he felt something try to claw its way out. It got so bad that Nonko would avoid sleep in fear of seeing the inverted eyes of a blood thirsty man, and would keep himself busy to trying to not think about it. Another mission brought another surprise. This time, it wasn't just hollows, it was the big one, the menos grande. Despite their efforts, they couldn't defeat it or make it go back into it's world. Having been knocked away from attending to another injured shinigami, Nonko was now also down and was the target of an attack. It was taking all his strength just to keep his zanpakuto in shikai.
Another voice, this one deep and full of sinister giggles, asked him if he wanted to be reborn again and live a better life. His answer was that he wanted to be stronger.
"I can help you... do you trust me? Hehe.
"I don't know you, but I need you to help me."
"I may end up killing your friends too."
"No, I'll make sure you don't."
"Hehe, really now? Interesting. Fine, I'm taking over!
When Nonko regained his senses, he was standing above one of his team mates, whip at the ready. He had kept his promise, so it seemed, barely gaining control again before the evil grin man struck. The mask in his hand and then the growing headache. The menos was gone, probably just gone back to it's own world. With a hell butterfly sent for 4th squad pick up, he collapsed next to the rest of his group, unsure of what really just happened.
A year went by without incident, but with Nonko's physiologically weakening state, the hollow within would eventually tear itself out again. He left the soul society and moved around Japan for a bit, settling in Karakura Town, hoping to lead a normal life. Of course, with the insane number of hollows appearing, his life consisted of fighting them off and keeping them away from souls until someone else took over.
After being the stand in guardian for Karakura town for another year he met a fellow Vaizard named Dark. The man took him into his small organization with open arms and allowed him a place to stay and live. Nonko was grateful to the man and asked him to teach him how to control his Hollow within. Over the weeks that followed he learned everything about being a Vaizard. He learned to control his Hollow and keep it from just bursting out. Afterwards Dark taught him how to call forth his mask at will and Nonko soon was a master at it.
Now Nonko stands as an Apprentice to Dark, serving under the leader of the Vaizard's faithfully. He uses his gift, as he calls it, to help people instead of trying to harm anyone. Life seems to being good for the man, but will it last?
RP Sample: - Spoiler:
The smile that had been on Matsu's face since he met the girl grew broader as she told him that she was in his squad and asked him his name. This was one of the first times in days he had talked to a girl near to his age. Most of the others he had talked to were either way older than him or a little to young for his taste. This girl was just the right age. She looked about a year younger than him and she had a beautiful smile. As thoughts flooded into his head his cheeks turned beet red and he turned his face away from her, not wanting her to see him this embarrased.
"My name is...
Matsu trailed off as another guy walked up with a cane. He looked the newcomer over and took in his green striped hat and his blonde hair. The boy looked tired; there were bags under his eyes and there was even the remnants of sleep in his eyes. Matsu stifled a chuckle as he listened to the boy introduce himself. Not many people would come to their first team meeting looking like they hadn't slept in days. Matsu sighed and went back to leaning against the tree. To each his own.
Thoughts flooded into his head as he surveyed his two teammates. Hana seemed to be shy, like himself. She had even struggled asking him his name. There was also the quiver of her lip as she smiled back at him. He had noticed it but just barely. If he had not of been looking at her it would have went by completely unnoticed. The other memeber of his team, Urahara, didn't seem to have a problem with shyness. He had introduced himself as soon as he saw them. That was a good thing; they needed atleast one person on this squad who wouldn't be shy most of the time.
Matsu pushed himself up from the tree and walked over to stand beside Hana. As soon as he stepped up beside her the cat that had been sitting there suddenly morphed into a human and came up behind Hana, grasping her breasts. Matsu stepped back in surprise and smiled slightly as the hands moved away. The woman who had done it said they were a two. Matsu hid a grin and kept watching as his Sensei began to speak. She asked that they tell her something about them and what abilities they could use. The Kaguya smiled and waited his turn.
The wind had died down by this time and Matsu cocked his head to the side as he listened to Hana. She was a Hyuuga and also a Medical ninja. She could be useful in battle if she learns some more advanced healing jutsu. He sighed as she finished and leaned back against the tree he had originally been leaning against. His hands went right back in his pockets and he stared up at the sky before speaking.
"My name is Matsu Kaguya. Im originally from Kirigakure no sato but I moved here when I was young to get away from all the persecution. If you want to know more about my clan ask me at another time. Im a little nervous about explaining it in front of more than one person."
Sweat trickled down his brow and he rubbed a hand across it. He wasn't quite used to being the center of attention like this. Another thing was that he wasn't the greatest public speaker ever. Even though it was only him and three others his nerves were shot. He was slowly cracking under the pressure but he wouldn't show it.
"Another thing you should probaly know about me is that I specialize in Taijutsu. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't train myself to become stronger than I already am. I hope to become one of the strongest Taijutsu specialist in this village one day. I'm also pretty adept with a blade. I don't have one yet but I plan to get one shortly. For the moment I just use my clan jutsu to make a sword out of my bone. Thank you for listening.
Matsu bowed to each of them in turn and then went back to looking at the sky. That had been one of the hardest things he had ever done in his life. Fighting was no problem but when it came to speaking he became nervous and sometimes he could barely speak. A proud smile spread across his face as he realized that he hadn't faltered once while he was speaking. That was a new accomplishment for him.
