Clous Sinota Div 3 Captain

Over all it is easily noted that Clous is of a noble lineage. He grew up in a family of shinigami, being the offspring of two talented warriors allot what expected from him. After a while his parents were well weaved into the soul society, and now Clous was attending the academy. He was fairly adept in using Kido, but his true strength lie within his sword skill and mastery of speed. He often found Kendo to be a well balanced form of swordsman ship. But it didn’t fit him well enough. So Clous started taking up other sword arts and adding twists to it to combine with kendo. Eventually sometime before graduation he had taken up a style that took advantage of his strengths and shielded against his weaknesses.

Soon he learned how to fight on equal ground with seated officers by using his new form. But many knew what it was, and for sure could see it for what it really was. A crutch, but it did its job effectively enough in keeping his hand eye reactions and overall movements well paced. Clous eventually grew out of the style and took up a few more difficult forms and sets further expanding his knowledge. As a shinigami he was still considered green. But the fact still stood, many expected a lot out of him. His progression was indeed something that others were always watching, and something his parents were proud of.

It was close to graduation date, Clous was ready for his future roles and seemed to be a normal guy with dreams of his own. But it seems tragedy always likes to strike at those moments. It was quickly revealed to Clous that his parents were killed in action by a rouge shinigami. From that day forward Clous seemed to change completely. He separated himself from his friends, he became intent on finding the rouge shinigami and end his life. Even though it went against everything his parents taught him.

Clous graduated and joined division six rising through the ranks as he started to get through his missions faster and faster each time. He eventually learned his shikai and started to develop his skills. It was then that his clan was being challenged for its title. Without the head of the clan present the Sinota clan would be striped of its noble title. He was eventually switched to division five where he stayed for less than a month. As a part of Division five, Clous was a seated officer, the sixth seat. It was during this time that he had also officially become the head of the clan. For once things seemed to be looking up for the young being.

Once his term with Division five was up Clous was swapped to division two where he became the third seat. And joined the special forces on the side. He learned of how they worked and studied their methods. He found himself becoming attached to that single squad, and more and more devoted to it's members. Then the day came when Clous was promoted to the second divisions lieutenant position. Though he didn't approve of the circumstances. The last vice captain was killed in action defending squad-mates from a hollow in the world of the living.

Once Clous was formally given the position and had settled in with the new tasks and responsibilities he began to strive for furthering his bond with his division mates as well as his Captain. previously he had done little to really become close with them aside from what was needed. Always keeping a bit a distance, just enough for a buffer. He hated being emotionally attached to anything only to have it killed and stripped away. But his views soon began to change as he became more and more concerned for others. His quest to become stronger led to him

Clous couldn’t allow everything his family had accomplished go to waste. He quickly took the seat at the head of the family name challenging anyone to take it from him. So far no one has done anything to challenge him other than make a few threats. He was later on shuffled around again. It was true that a lot of roles were switched around and that there was one hell of a void to fill.

After a few more years it was revealed that the Rouge Shinigami was actually a team mate of his parents who had become a Vizard. Apparently the rouge shinigami had lost his mind after witnessing the death of his allies and lost control of the hollow in himself which was kept secret. He eventually lost control over it and killed Clous' parents. Clous still didn’t view it as "good enough for him". It was just an excuse, if he ever found the man he would kill him.

With that resolve in mind Clous began his training for his Bankai at the Age of sixty. He struggled for months but eventually succeed and his abilities with Telitsue reached an all time high for the first time in a long time. Receiving a new level of respect from his Captain Clous felt proud, but still seething with hatred and thoughts of revenge. But now there were gaps to fill as casualties started to climb a bit.

Once again Clous was shuffled around, along with the position of Captain for Division three. He went on with this position for a short while. Given the almost unlucky streak this division has had with its missions, and Clous learned to walk on thin ice. He eventually gained the trust of his division and worked with them to keep order and improved the division greatly.

After a while, having already spent quite some time with the division and well versed in the squads dealings already Clous was ready. Settling in didn’t take long at all. He currently heads the Division itself poised and ready for what ever may come their way. As well as holds a close relationship with the veteran members of Division two whom he trusts greatly, and likes to work with them when he can.

Clous sat in his room, legs crossed under him and the Tatsuma scroll in front of him. His eyes were wide open and glowed with a yellow hue, and his iris starting to slit. Though he seemed awake he was truly unconscious. His mind had traversed time and space itself to a realm unknown to the outsiders of the clan. He was to be undisturbed for up to four hours if needed. So far two had passed. He was in pain, mentally but his body was feeling it now. The trials of Tatsuma were pushing him to his limits and beyond.

Mind’s Eye

He stood on a mountain top, the clouds below him and several human sized bipedal blue dragons stood In front of him with swords like Tatsuma. Clous was panting heavily. This was his last test, or at least he hoped. Clous stood up straight and took a stance with his sword in hand. The blue engraving of Tatsuma had disappeared since the trials began. “You’re as persistent as your father, that same will and drive. A lesser man would have lost long ago.” A deep monstrous voice spoke seemingly from the surrounding area.

“Well luckily I’m more, and I’ve got a lot more where that came from.” Clous stood up straight and stared the group of draconian down before charging them. A single draconian took a step toward him and swung it’s sword down toward Clous. Its strength was superhuman and unlike anything Clous had ever felt. His body almost buckled under the force but he was able to push back surprisingly. The sword slid to his side as his foot was launched upward toward the dragons chin. It connected and the blade in his shoe dug in deep. The draconian stumbled backward a bit before it firmed up and advanced again. Clous sighed. Not being able to use Jutsu at all was annoying. Koori was cycling through his body and begging to be released but he had to hold it in. focusing on that alone was a pain.

As the Draconian charged Clous waited to the last second, resting as much as he could. He lifted his sword and drove it straight into the first Draconian’s chest. The creature growled and thrashed wildly. Clous almost lost his grip on his blade but he quickly pulled it out forcing the wound to bleed through, and the Draconian to hit the ground with such force. The oddest thing soon happened. The plateau that they were one broke away from the rest of the mountain and lifted up into the air. “What the hell is it now?” He asked as the other Draconian creatures disappeared. His eyes burned a bit, but soon the pain was unbearable as he struggled to see. He went blind and he gripped his face in obvious pain. “Under such circumstances, I wonder if you can still harness my power.” The deep voice boomed once again.

Clous opened his eyes. They took the form of Tatsuma’s though he still couldn’t see the normal way. “T-this is amazing,” He managed to say as he staggered and stood up. “So this means…” Tatsuma his self floated down to meet Clous, its massive blue body sunk below the floating patch of earth until it was face to face with Clous. “Yes young Sinota, you have passed. You have been blessed with the eyes of a dragon, the ability to see beyond what others were meant to see.” Then all at once Clous opened his eyes back in the real world. “I-I passed,” he sighed as he fell back onto the floor. Snoring and completely drained he fell asleep.

Soon the day came for his next mission. He had seemingly fully recovered from his ordeals, and trials. Now it would be time to put them to test, or maybe not. Clous wasn't feeling comfortable with the new ability yet. So his orders were given and he was to wipe out an entire convoy. So be it he decided to follow the orders to a T.

Clous waited In the trees, a thick mist covering the forest as he waited for his target to emerge. A convoy was soon to move through here. It carried a message of war. Clous was sent to make sure that message never got through. As the convoy moved through the forest Clous got ready. He pulled four shuriken from his pack on his right side. He rose them up close to himself before throwing them loose. Several ninja that were guarding went down. Clous then gripped his sword in his right hand and fell upon the messenger, and the remaining ninja killing everyone.

Clous found the message and smiled. He extended his left arm to the sky. Seconds later a hawk flew down and landed on Clous’ arm. Clous tied the message to the Hawk and sent him back to the village hidden in the leaves. “That should hold the war of just a bit longer.”
At that moment when Clous had turned his back a beast of a man had emerged from the carriage itself. This man was easily seen as a mist ninja. Clous turned to face him as he sensed a disturbance. At first he was thinking of just letting him go, but in the back of his mind he knew how stupid that sounded.

Clous glared through his wolf faced mask at the man. He wore a black cloak and was covered in chains. There was also a sealing mark on his forehead. Clous took note of this as gripped Tatsuma tightly. "Who are you?" Clous asked as he slowly approached.

The man said nothing, he simply pointed to the sky. Clous was stupid enough to look up. Clous heard a high pitch sound and his head snapped back to where the man was. He was gone, Clous backed away slowly while sheathing Tatsuma. What was that?... I should head back now. With that decided Clous jumped back into the tree line and headed back to Konohagakure.

However on his way he kept hearing the rattle of chains. Each time he stopped and looked around. With one of his twin shrikes in hand Clous stood on a tree branch and looked out over the forest. What is this? A cold tingle down my spine. This can't be possible, for me to feel so... Clous once again heard the rattle of chains bellow him.

Clous looked down into the cold dark blue eyes of the cloaked chained man. A huff of icy breath escaped from his masked mouth. Clous glared form behind the wolf mask. His katar held tightly, Clous performed the proper hand signs. Mist blade jutsu! Mist formed around the blade of the katar, locking in chakra and strengthening the blades durability and cutting power. "What are you intentions?"

In response the cloaked man's right arm lashed out sending a flurry of chains hurling towards Clous. Clous jumped back and swung from the now demolished branch. He charged in moving as fast as he could. More chains lashed out around him. Clous reached for a kunai knife and threw it at the man right arm. The Kunai itself was deflected as another volley of chains were launched at him. Clous dove to the side and was ready to strike once again. But like last time the man had disappeared. There was a high pitched whistle cracking through the air. "What the heck is going on!?" He asked the surrounding forest.

Of course Clous wasn't expecting an answer which was evaded by the surprised look on his face when the man reappeared behind him and spoke. "Your still not strong enough, you wouldn't even be able to get close enough let alone touch the ones that destroyed everything that you held in your heart. the ones who destroyed your heart."

Clous' eyes widened as a thick mist moved in. It barely reached Clous when it started to vanish. The man was gone once again. What- what does he know about me, how could he? Clous slowly turned his back and continued on back to Konohagakure to give his report and success of the mission.

Clous made it a point to leave out the part of the unidentified shinobi that attacked him. As far as Clous figured it was his problem and he needed to sort it out on his own. Back in his room Clous took of his mask. His red eyes seemed tired as sweat dripped from his chin. He pulled the half cloth mask down form his face, and set his weapon next to his bed. How did he know me? Someone I knew...maybe its-...

Clous laid back on his bed, his eyes closed and he fell into a dark sleep shrouded in nightmares. His memories of his mothers face the last time he saw her. The tears in her eyes, for she knew that it would be the last time she would see him. Tears ran down Clous' face as he slept. The last words of a dying mother in his head. "Live on my son." He turned over and gripped his head "Am I the last?" he muttered.
